2. What data we process
Depending on how you use the website, we may process:
- technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, request time and server logs;
- language preferences and cookie or similar identifiers;
- search terms and information submitted through service forms;
- for eTarot: name, date of birth, question, spread, answer, payment status and the unique reading link;
- contact and transaction data required to handle correspondence, payment or a complaint.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide website features and paid services, process payments, answer messages, maintain security, prevent abuse, establish or defend claims and meet accounting or tax duties. Depending on the situation, the legal basis is performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)), our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) or consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
4. Payments and recipients
Payment data may be provided to the payment operator selected in the website configuration: Przelewy24 or Stripe. Data may also be processed by hosting, database, IT support, analytics and communication providers, OpenAI when an eTarot interpretation is generated, and public authorities where required by law. Each provider receives only data necessary for its role.
5. Public biographical information
Profiles of public or notable people are created from public sources, primarily Wikidata and Wikipedia. They may contain names, dates of birth or death, occupation, citizenship and other biographical facts. The purpose is to provide sourced encyclopaedic information. A person concerned may request correction, supplementation or removal of inaccurate information using the contact details above.
6. Cookies and analytics
The website uses essential technologies to remember language preferences and maintain security. Google Analytics is also used to measure website traffic and may use cookies or similar identifiers. You can restrict cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect some website features.
7. Storage period
Data is stored only as long as necessary for the stated purpose, the service or contract, security and claims, and for periods required by accounting or tax law. Server logs and analytical data are retained according to the settings and justified needs of the relevant service. eTarot content is retained so the reading can be accessed through its unique link, until deletion is requested or retention is no longer justified.
8. International transfers
Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers are based on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another mechanism permitted by the GDPR.
9. Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland.
10. Additional information
Providing data is voluntary, but some data is necessary to use a selected function, make a payment or receive an answer. The website does not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. The policy may be updated when the service, providers or law changes.
